HiBase Group announced version 1.99 of its feature-packed yet extremely fast viewer\editor suite intended for accessing, viewing and altering .DBF files on-the-fly, regardless of file size or ODBC\BDE external drivers availability. DBF Viewer 2000 allows for viewing, modifying and printing of tables stored in a .DBF file created with any database engine (including dBase, Visual dBase, Clipper, FoxPro, Visual FoxPro, FoxBASE and DB2K). Besides basic functionality the application makes it possible to sort data, query by example and remove duplicates. Some neat extra features include built-in OEM-ANSI converter, automatic character set detection and detailed statistics for each field type.

DBF Viewer 2000 is intended for database experts who would like to take advantage of fast, driver-independent read\write access to any .DBF file with ability to modify database right from the viewer application. Data contained in .DBF files (including huge files over 2GB in size) can be exported to a variety of popular data exchange formats, including .TXT, .CSV, .ELS, .HTML, .XML, .PRG and SQL. Import from text files is also supported. Fully customizable user interface allows for creation of most-natural and user friendly editing environment. DBF Viewer 2000 is available in English, German, Spanish and Italian languages.
